Meet Dr. Prashant Patel

Dr. Prashant Patel graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2010 and immediately moved to the great state of Texas. After practicing in the Houston area for a number of years, he and his wife Munira, an Endocrinologist now practicing in Cedar Park fulfilled their longtime dream of moving to Austin to be closer to family and to raise their children.

Dr. Patel is a general dentist with experience in Invisalign orthodontic treatment, cosmetic dentistry, and oral surgery including extractions and implants; he is also certified in both nitrous and conscious sedation to help patients feel even more comfortable in the chair. In addition, Dr. Patel is constantly refining his skill and expanding his knowledge through the latest continuing education courses to stay current with new advancements and evolving techniques in dentistry.
He is passionate about the trust built through open communication and patient education and truly believes that healthy lifestyles start with healthy smiles. Dr. Patel strives to achieve this by using a comprehensive approach to dentistry in order to provide the best care to his patients.

When he’s not in the office, you'll find Dr. Patel discovering the Austin outdoors, fooding out at local restaurants, tinkering with his vintage motorcycle, or chasing his 2 kids. He is proud to be a part of the amazing Avery Ranch Dental team and is excited to meet you!
